CHOCOLATE CHIP/WALNUT COOKIES 
2/3 c. butter, room temp.
2/3 c. sugar
1/2 c. packed brown sugar
1 lg. egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. flour
1 (10 oz.) pkg. lg. chocolate chips
2/3 c. chopped walnuts (or any nut)

Heat oven to 325°F.

Lightly grease 2 (17"x14") cookie sheets.

In the large bowl of an electric mixer, beat together butter, sugars, egg and vanilla at medium-high speed until fluffy. Reduce mixer speed to low, add flour, increase mixer speed gradually and beat just until blended. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts. Drop heaping tablespoons 2 1/2" apart on prepared cookie sheets.

Bake 1 sheet at a time for 17 minutes or until edges of cookies are lightly browned and tops look dry. Cool on sheet for 5 minutes and then remove to wire rack to cool completely.

Makes 22 cookies.

Servings: 22, 1 cookie per serving.

It didn't call for any baking soda! I caught myself at the last minuet and added one tsp of baking soda. The cookies turned out great though. But I baked them for longer than stated.
