Yellow cake mix

Prepare and bake cake mix according to package directions; cool. Roll balls of ice cream in crumbled up cake. Wrap in foil individually and freeze. Dip in beer batter and fry in hot oil until brown, about 1 minute. Serve with maple syrup.

BEER BATTER:

8 oz. beer
Dash of salt
1 egg
Enough flour to thicken
