POTATO SOUP 
6 potatoes, peeled & cut into bite-sized pieces
2 leeks
2 sm. onions, chopped
4-6 carrots, pared & sliced
1 stalk celery, chopped
4 chicken bouillon cubes
1 tbsp. parsley flakes
5 c. water
1 tbsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/3 c. butter
1 (13 oz.) evaporated milk
8-10 bacon slices, fried & crumbled
Chopped chives

Put all ingredients except evaporated milk and chives in crock pot. Cover and cook on low 10-12 hours or on high 3-4 hours. Stir in evaporated milk during last hour. Sprinkle chopped chives on top before serving.
