CRISP ONION-ROASTED POTATOES | |
1 env. Lipton onion mushroom recipe soup mix 1/2 c. olive OR vegetable oil 1/4 c. butter, melted 1 tsp. thyme leaves (optional) 1 tsp. marjoram leaves (optional) 1/4 tsp. pepper 2 lbs. all-purpose potatoes, cut into quarters Preheat oven to 450 degrees. In shallow baking or roasting pan, thoroughly blend all ingredients, except potatoes. Add potatoes and turn to coat thoroughly. Bake, stirring occasionally, 60 minutes or until potatoes are tender and golden brown. Garnish, if desired, with chopped parsley. Makes about 8 servings. Doubles nicely for a large group. Can be made earlier in day and reheated. |
