PINEAPPLE CREAM PIE 
1 baked pie shell
2 c. scalded milk
2 tbsp. flour
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 egg yolks, beaten
2 heaping tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 can crushed pineapple

Combine lukewarm milk, flour, sugar, cornstarch and salt in top of double boiler. Cook until thickened; remove from heat. Slowly add egg yolks and beat mixture. Return to heat until bubbly, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and add vanilla and drained pineapple. Pour into baked pie shell.
