QUICK AND EASY CORNBREAD 
1 c. self-rising flour
1 c. self-rising cornmeal
1 c. milk
1/4 c. vegetable oil
1 egg, beaten

Combine all ingredients; mix well. Pour batter into a well-greased 8-inch cake pan. Bake at 450 degrees for 25 minutes. Yield: 6-8 servings.

Getting the ingredients together was quick and easy. However the corn bread was a little dry. Not sure where I went wrong.
