CORNBREAD 
2/3 c. milk (sweet)
1 egg
2 tbsp. mayo
meal (to thicken)
2 tbsp. cooking oil

Preheat oven to 400°F to 450°F. Put oil in iron skillet (small) and put in the oven to heat. Mix milk, egg, mayo and meal in bowl. Pour hot grease from skillet into mixture and stir. Pour into skillet and return to oven.

Bake until brown.

May be doubled for full-sized (10-inch) skillet.
