CANDIED SWEET POTATOES 
12 sm. sweet potatoes
1 c. granulated sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1/4 c. butter
1/2 c. hot water or pineapple juice

Cook potatoes in water with skins on until peel can be removed. Place in baking dish. Blend white and brown sugar and cornstarch. Add other ingredients and pour over potatoes. Bake in a slow oven for 1 hour.
