WHOLE WHEAT HONEY BREAD 
1 egg
2 c. water (warm)
1/2 c. honey
2/3 c. butter, melted
1/2 tsp. salt
4 c. whole wheat flour
4 c. unbleached all-purpose flour
1 pkg. dry yeast

Proof yeast in 1/4 cup warm water with a teaspoon sugar. Meanwhile, combine eggs, honey, water, melted butter and salt in large mixing bowl; mix well. Add yeast mixture. Add 3 cups whole wheat flour, mix. Add 3 cups whole wheat flour, mix. Add 2 cups all-purpose flour, mix. Add remaining whole wheat and all purpose flour until dough separates from side of bowl; knead remaining all-purpose flour. Place in lightly oiled bowl. Cover, let rise. Punch down. Place in bread pans (3). Let rise to top of pans; bake in oven set at 400 degrees for 15 minutes, then 375 degrees for 25 minuts. Butter top crust. Cool on racks.
