CHOCOLATE CREAM PIE 
3 heaping tbsp. cocoa
2 1/2 c. milk
5 tbsp. cornstarch
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
3 egg yolks
2 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 pie crust, baked

Combine and cook over medium heat or in a double broiler over water; stir constantly until thick. Remove from heat. Add butter and vanilla. Pour into pie crust.

Top with meringue and bake until brown. If you prefer you can top with whipped cream.
