BARBARA'S CORNBREAD 
8 1/2 oz. can creamed corn
1 c. yellow cornmeal
3 eggs
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
3/4 c. milk
1/3 c. vegetable oil
1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese, divided
1 tbsp. butter

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Melt butter in glass baking dish and allow it to get hot and bubbly. Mix together all ingredients, reserving half of cheese. Pour mixture into hot pan. Spread remaining cheese on top. Bake for 40 minutes. Cut into squares.
