OVERNIGHT SALAD | |
1 pt. whipping cream 1/4 c. milk 1/4 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. dry mustard 1 lemon 4 eggs 1 lg. can pineapple, diced 1/2 c. chopped nuts 1 bag sm. marshmallows Mix salt, lemon juice, and dry mustard in well beaten eggs. Add warm milk and cook in double boiler until thick. Chill and add cream. Add 2 cups shredded crisp apples, white cherries or grapes. Your choice or a mixture may be used. Best when left overnight. |
