MILKY WAY® CAKE | |
8 MILKY WAY® candy bars (2 1/4 oz.) 2 sticks butter 2 c. sugar 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1 1/4 c. buttermilk 4 eggs, separated 3 c. flour 1 c. pecans 1 tsp. vanilla Melt candy in double boiler and one stick of butter and set aside. Cream sugar and one stick of butter. Mix soda and milk together then add egg yolks to sugar and butter. Add milk mixture alternating with flour. Add candy bars and pecans. Beat and fold in egg whites then add vanilla. Bake at 350 degrees in 3 x 9 inch pan for 30 minutes. Bake in a tube pan for 1 hour and 20 minutes. FROSTING: 2 1/2 c. sugar 1 c. evaporated milk 1 c. marshmallow creme 1 (6 oz.) chocolate chips 1 stick butter Cook sugar and milk to soft ball. Add rest and stir until melted. Beat well and put on cooled cake. |
