MICROWAVE TERIYAKI SPARERIBS 
1 pkg. boneless country spareribs, 2-3 lb.
1 1/2-2 tbsp. cornstarch
2 tbsp. water

SAUCE:

1/4 c. soy sauce
1/2 c. chopped onion
2-3 tbsp. packed brown sugar
1 clove fresh garlic, minced
1 tsp. ground ginger
1 tsp. salt
3 c. orange juice

Cut spareribs into small chunks and plate in 9 x 13 inch glass casserole dish. Combine in bowl sauce ingredients and pour over spareribs; marinate if desired or cover with saran wrap and microwave at medium 70-80 minutes, rearranging every 20 minutes.

Remove ribs to platter, skim fat from liquid and pour in microwave bowl. Stir together cornstarch and water. Blend into liquid. Microwave high 4 minutes, stirring every minute until sauce is clear and thickened. Pour over ribs in a serving dish and serve with rice.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
