MEXICAN CORNBREAD 
1 c. cornmeal
3/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. milk
2 eggs
1 can creamed corn

Mix. 1/2 c. chopped onion 1-2 tsp. chopped jalapeno pepper 1/2 lb. grated cheese

Brown hamburger, rinse and drain well. Pour half of batter in well greased 9 x 13 inch pan. Top with hamburger, onion and pepper. Cover with cheese. Pour remaining batter over cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 40-50 minutes.
