MEXICAN MEAT LOAVES 
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. Quaker oats (any kind)
1 egg
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 (4 oz.) can chopped green chilies, drained
1 tbsp. plus 1 tsp. instant minced onion
1 tsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
1/4 tsp. ground cumin

Combine meat, oats, egg, 1/4 cup tomato sauce, 2 tablespoons chilies, 1 tablespoon onions, chili powder, cumin, salt. Mix well.

Shape to form 4 (4x2 inch) loaves; place in 8-inch square pan. Bake in preheated moderate 375 degree oven for 20 to 25 minutes. Combine remaining tomato sauce, green chilies, onion and garlic powder in small saucepan; heat. To serve, spoon sauce over meat loaves; sprinkle with cheese.

MICROWAVE: On high 6-7 minutes, rotate each 2 minutes of cooking. Heat sauce on high 1 minute.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
