GOOD EGG CUSTARD | |
1 qt. milk 5 eggs 3/4 c. sugar 1/4 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. nutmeg, optional Heat milk. Do not overcook. Cream eggs, sugar and salt. Add milk slowly, stirring constantly. Place in 325 degree oven for about 25 minutes or until inserted knife comes out clean. This is also a good pie filling. Can be served with cherry or apple pie filling over it. |
