SWEDISH CAKE 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
3 eggs, separated
3/4 c. milk
2 1/4 c. flour
2 tsp. vanilla
4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt

TOPPING FOR CAKE:

3/4 c. brown sugar
2 tsp. flour
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. walnuts, chopped
Butter

FILLING FOR CAKE:

1 box vanilla pudding
1 3/4 c. milk (for pudding)
1 pt. heavy cream
1 tsp. plain gelatin

Prepare cake like any other cake, folding in beaten egg whites last. Mix ingredients for top of cake together except butter. Sprinkle over top of cake and dot with butter. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes in a 15" round cake pan.

Prepare pudding for filling with 1 3/4 cups milk. Cover and cool. Whip cream and add gelatin. Fold whipped cream into cooled pudding. Split layers and add filling.
