CARAMEL MIX 
6 c. popcorn, popped
2 c. Cheerios
2 c. Rice Chex
1 c. salted or blanched peanuts
1 stick butter
1 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. corn syrup
1 tsp. baking soda

Melt butter with brown sugar and corn syrup. Bring to a boil, cook on low for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally then add the baking soda and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Mixture will be foamy.

Mix with the first 4 ingredients and bake in a greased roaster pan or covered 9 x 13 and bake at 250 degrees for 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes.
