DUTCH APPLE PIE 
PIE CRUST:

2 c. flour
2/3 c. shortening
Pinch of salt
1 tsp. sugar
5-7 tbsp. water

Mix flour and salt together, then cut in shortening until flour is small pea size. Sprinkle water a little at a time until all is moistened. Roll out on lightly floured board.

PIE FILLING:

6 tart apples
1/2 c. flour
1 c. sugar
3/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg

PIE TOPPING:

3/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. butter
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1 1/2 c. flour

Peel and slice apples. Mix 1/2 cup flour, 1 cup sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg with apples. Put in pie crust. Then take brown sugar, butter, flour and cinnamon and mix until crumble. Put over top of pie and bake at 400 degrees for 45 to 50 minutes.
