CHILI SAUCE 
18 ripe tomatoes, peeled
1 or 2 onions
1 sm. red hot pepper
3 green peppers
1 c. sugar
1 c. vinegar
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. black pepper

Cook tomatoes for 1 hour and then add spices, sugar, and vinegar. Seed peppers, chop them, and the onions (put through the grinder). Cook about 1/2 hour. Some liquid can be poured off tomatoes if not thick enough. Simmer mixture 2 or 3 hours until thickened (bring to a boil first). Fill jars with chili sauce mixture and seal.

Hint: To warm jars, fill with boiling water first.
