MARINATED CHICKEN WINGS
1 c. sugar
1/3 c. oil
1/3 c. unsweetened pineapple juice
1 c. lite soy sauce
1 tsp. ground ginger
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 c. water
Disjointed chicken wings (I use 3/4 lb. wings per serving for main dish, less for appetizers)

Mix marinade; pour over disjointed chicken wings. Let stand in marinade at least 3 hours to overnight (overnight is best). Bake in shallow "roll" pan 1 hour at 350 degrees with the marinade poured over, then pour marinade off and bake 20 minutes longer to form a glaze.

Or, put chicken wings and marinade in an electric skillet at 325-350 degrees and cook with lid on 45 minutes; remove lid for 15 minutes. Electric skillet method makes a stickier, thicker glaze. Either method is very good!
