LAYERED SALAD 
1 head lettuce
1 c. celery, diced
4 boiled eggs
1 (16 oz.) can English peas
1/2 c. bell pepper
1 sweet onion, chopped
8 slices bacon, fried
2 c. mayonnaise
2 tbsp. sugar

Tear lettuce into bite size. Place in 9x12 inch dish. Layer rest in order given, add sugar to mayonnaise. Spread over top. Top with cheese. Cover and refrigerate for 8 to 12 hours.
