CANDIED SWEET POTATOES 
1 (29 oz.) can sweet potatoes, drained & quartered
1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 c. butter, melted
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. water

Place potatoes in a buttered 1 1/2 quart casserole dish. Combine brown sugar, butter, salt and water; heat to dissolve sugar. Pour brown sugar syrup over sweet potatoes. Bake at 375 degrees, basting frequently until bubbly.
