1 c. corn oil
1 c. butter
1 c. 10x sugar
1 c. granulated sugar
4 c. flour
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. almond extract

Beat oil, butter and sugars. Add vanilla and almond extract. Mix flour, baking soda and cream of tartar together. Add to egg mixture. Beat again. Chill dough. Roll into small balls. Roll in granulated sugar. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 350 degrees until lightly browned. Cookies can be flattened with glass or palm of hand. NOTE: 2 teaspoons vanilla - instead of using almond extract.
