1 c. granulated sugar
1 c. confectioners' sugar
1 c. (2 sticks) butter
1 c. oil
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
4 1/2 to 5 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar

Cream sugars, butter, oil, eggs, and vanilla. Blend in flour, baking soda, and cream of tartar. Drop by teaspoons on ungreased cookie sheet. Sprinkle with colored sugar. Press lightly with bottom of greased glass. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes. Makes 7-8 dozen. Dough will be sticky.
