YELLOW CHIFFON 
2 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. salad oil
3/4 c. water
5 egg yolks
2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. lemon extract
1 c. egg whites (5 eggs)
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar

Sift flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder in mixing bowl and make a well. Add in order - salad oil, egg yolks, water, lemon and vanilla extracts; beat until smooth. Add cream of tartar to egg whites and beat until hold stiff peaks; pour egg yolk mixture over egg whites and gently fold in. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes.
