EASY STEW 
2 lb. beef stew meat
1 can tomato soup
1/2 c. dry red wine
2 c. cut up carrots
1 chopped onion
Some cut up potatoes
1 tsp. salt & pepper to taste
1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms, sauteed first in a little butter
1 whole bay leaf

Put all ingredients in casserole with tight lid. Bake 4 hours at 275 degrees.
