BUTTERMILK PIE 
3/4 c. white sugar
2 tbsp. butter
2 c. buttermilk
1/2 tsp. salt
1/3 c. flour
2 egg yolks
1 tsp. vanilla
2 egg whites
9 inch pie shell, unbaked

Mix flour and sugar. Add softened butter and egg yolks. Stir in gradually the buttermilk, vanilla and salt. Fold in beaten egg whites. Pour into 9 inch pie shell. Bake at 375 degrees for 45 to 60 minutes or until knife comes out clean and pie is lightly browned.
