HOT FRUIT COMPOTE 
1 (16 oz.) can pear halves. drained
1 (16 oz.) can peach halves, drained
1 (16 oz.) can apricot halves, drained
1 (20 oz.) can pineapple chunks, drained
2 lemons, sliced
1 c. brown sugar
1 stick melted butter
1 1/2 tsp. curry powder
1/2 c. light rum
2 tbsp. cornstarch

Mix all fruit in a shallow baking dish. Lay lemon slices over top. Mix other ingredients in saucepan and heat. Pour over fruit and bake at 250 degrees for 1 hour. Can be prepared several days in advance and refrigerated.
