YAKITORI 
2 whole chicken breasts, boned
1 bunch green onions
1/2 c. shoyu
2 tsp. grated fresh ginger
1/4 c. sherry
2 tbsp. sugar
1 tbsp. toasted sesame seeds

Cut boned chicken into 1 inch lengths. Slice green onion into 1 inch lengths, alternate with chicken pieces on bamboo skewers. Blend shoyu, ginger, sherry, sugar and sesame seeds; pour mixture over skewered chicken.

Marinate for 30 minutes. Arrange 8-10 skewers spoke-fashion in a shallow baking dish; cook in microwave oven 3-4 minutes, or just until done. Cook remaining skewers as needed.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
