FAMILY FAVORITE TACO SALAD 
1 lb. ground beef (I use chuck)
1 lg. onion, chopped
1 lg. green pepper, chopped
1 1/2 lb. Velveeta cheese
2 (16 oz. ea.) jars Medium Taco Sauce (I use chunky)
1 lg. head lettuce, broken into bite-sized pieces
3 med. tomatoes, cut into bite-sized pieces
2 bags corn chips, crushed (Fritos)

Brown together the ground beef, onion and green pepper until meat is well browned. Drain. Cut cheese into large cubes. Add cheese and taco sauce to meat mixture. Cook on medium heat until cheese is melted, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat to low and simmer.

Meanwhile, put lettuce, tomatoes and corn chips into large bowl. Toss. Top with meat/cheese mixture and mix well. Serve immediately.

Serves 10 to 12.
