TEXAS SHEET CAKE 
2 sticks butter
1/4 c. cocoa
1 c. water
2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. buttermilk or 1/2 c. milk plus 2 tsp. vinegar
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla

Melt butter, add cocoa and water and bring to a boil. Add flour, sugar, buttermilk, soda, cinnamon and vanilla. Mix well and pour into a 9 x 13 pan. Bake 20 minutes at 400 degrees.

While cake is baking, mix ingredients for topping. Bring to a boil and remove from heat. Pour over top of cake as soon as you remove it from the oven.

TOPPING:

1/2 c. butter
1/4 c. cocoa
6 tbsp. milk
1 lb. powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. walnuts
