1 brown sugar
3/4 c. shortening
2 eggs
1/3 c. milk
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. oatmeal
1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips

Cream brown sugar and shortening together. Mix in the eggs and milk. Add the flour, baking powder, salt and vanilla. Mix in the oatmeal then add the chocolate chips. Bake at 350 degrees.
