PARTY PORK BARBECUE | |
1 lb. pork or other cooked meat, cut in 1 inch cubes 1/4 c. flour 1 tsp. salt and 1/8 tsp. pepper (if desired replace with 1 tsp. basil) 2 tbsp. vegetable oil 1 c. sliced celery 1 med. green pepper, cut in 2 inch thin strips 1 sm. onion, sliced 1 (13 1/2 oz.) can pineapple chunks, undrained 3/4 c. catsup (or 8 oz. tomato sauce) 1 tbsp. mustard 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce 6 c. cooked rice Coat meat with mixture of flour and seasonings. Brown in oil in a large skillet, using all the flour. Add celery, green pepper, onion, pineapple, catsup, mustard and Worcestershire sauce. Simmer covered for 30 minutes. Serve over rice. |
