MOUNTAIN PIE 
1/4 lb. butter
1 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. berries
1 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
3/4 c. milk

Melt butter in deep dish in which you will bake the pie. Mix dry ingredients. Add milk. Pour this batter over butter, without stirring. Pour berries into the middle of the batter. Do not stir! Bake 30 minutes at 375 degrees.
