2 c. hot grape juice
3 c. sugar
Wash and stem grapes. Put into a pan to boil, mash with hands or a hand potato masher. Boil until they are juice consistency. Strain and put 2 cups of hot juice and 3 cups sugar and stir until all sugar is dissolved. Put into clean, sterilized jars. When jelly is cool, cover with paraffin. I find that making this jelly in this quantity works best. If the juice gets cold before you are finished, heat only the juice and add the sugar. Do not cook juice and sugar together.
