APPLE - SWEET POTATO SCALLOP 
6 med. sweet potatoes, peeled, sliced thin
6 tart apples, cored, pared, sliced thin
1/4 to 1/2 c. brown sugar
3 tbsp. butter
1/4 c. water

Arrange potatoes and apples in alternate layers in greased 2 quart casserole. Sprinkle top with brown sugar; dot top with butter; pour water over all. Cover. Bake at 350 degrees for one hour. Serve with salad, ham, baked pork chops. Serves 6.
