MEXICAN CORNBREAD 
1 c. self-rising cornmeal
1 c. cream style corn
1 1/2 c. grated cheese
8 sm. hot peppers (Texas Pete hot sauce peppers), chopped
1 c. buttermilk
2 whole eggs

Mix ingredients and add (optional) :

1 lb. ground beef
1 med. onion, chopped

Saute beef and onion until brown and add to above mixture. Bake at 350 degrees until brown.
