BEEF BARBECUE FOR A CROWD 
4 lbs. stewing beef
1 (1 lb. 14 oz.) can tomatoes
1/2 tsp. chili powder
1 c. vinegar
4 cloves garlic, minced
4 c. water
1/2 c. Worcestershire sauce
1 c. catsup
Salt and pepper

Combine all ingredients in large pan. Simmer, uncovered, for 5 to 6 hours or until beef falls apart into shreds. Mixture should be thick. Spoon on toasted hamburger buns. Yield: 20 buns.
