CHINESE STYLE FRIED RICE 
1 1/3 c. water
1 1/3 c. Minute Rice
3 tbsp. butter
1 egg, beaten
1/3 c. chopped onion or green onion
2-3 tbsp. soy sauce

Bring to 1 cup of the water to a boil in saucepan. Remove from heat; cover and let stand 5 minutes. Meanwhile, cook 3 egg in butter in 10 inch skillet until set. Add onion and the rice (1/2 of the precooked salad shrimp, chicken, or pork may be stirred in here also), and cook and stir over medium heat until rice and onion are lightly browned, about 5 minutes. Combine remaining water and the soy sauce; stir into rice.

Perfect for perking up an everyday dinner of chicken or pork chops. Makes about 3 cups or 4 servings.
