OVEN FRIED FISH (LOW CALORIE) | |
1 lb. fish fillets 2 tbsp. cornmeal 2 tbsp. cracker crumbs 1/4 tsp. paprika 1/8 tsp. dried dill weed 1/4 c. milk 3 tbsp. butter, melted 1/4 tsp. pepper Move oven rack to position slightly above middle of oven. Heat oven to 500 degrees. Cut fish fillets into 2" x 1 1/2" pieces. Mix cornmeal, cracker crumbs, salt, paprika, dill weed and pepper. Dip fish into milk, then coat with cornmeal mixture. Place fish in well greased rectangle pan, 13"x9"x2". Pour butter over fish. Cook, uncovered until fish flakes easily with fork, about 10 minutes. 5 servings, about 5 pieces, 165 calories each. |
