CHOCOLATE ANGEL CAKE DESSERT | |
1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips 1 c. chopped nuts (opt.) 6 beaten egg yolks 6 stiff beaten egg whites 1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip 2 tsp. vanilla 2 tbsp. sugar 1 angel food cake Melt chocolate chips in double boiler, remove from heat, add vanilla, egg yolks, beat in one at a time. Place in bowl; cool. Fold in stiff egg whites, Cool Whip and sugar. Break angel food cake in pieces and place 1/2 in 9"x13" pan, add 1/2 Cool Whip mix, rest of angel food cake, followed by rest of Cool Whip mixture. Refrigerate for 24 hours. |
