SUGAR - TOP MUFFINS 
1 c. flour
1 c. quick oats
3/4 c. packed brown sugar
3/4 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1 beaten egg
3/4 c. milk
1/3 c. cooking oil
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
Cinnamon sugar

In a medium mixing bowl, combine the flour, oats, brown sugar, baking powder, and soda. In a small bowl, combine the egg, milk, and cooking oil. Add egg mixture to the flour, mixing until just moistened. Stir in walnuts.

To bake: Fill 2/3 full with batter. Sprinkle the tops with cinnamon sugar. Bake at 375 degrees for 18 to 20 minutes or until muffins are golden.

This recipe can be stored tightly covered in refrigerator for up to 1 week.
