NOODLE KUGEL | |
1 (8 oz.) pkg. noodles 1/4 lb. butter, softened 1/2 c. sugar 1/2 pt. (1 c.) cottage cheese 1 pt. (2 c.) sour cream 1/2 tsp. salt 2 tsp. vanilla extract 5 eggs Cinnamon Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 13 x 9 inch baking dish; set aside. In a large saucepan, cook noodles in boiling salted water until tender 8 to 10 minutes. Drain and set aside. In a large bowl, beat butter and sugar. Add cottage cheese, sour cream, salt and vanilla. Mix in eggs, 1 at a time, beating after each addition. Stir in cooked noodles. Pour into prepared baking dish. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Bake 50 to 55 minutes until golden brown. Let stand 5 minutes before cutting into squares. |
