BANANA COUNTING COOKIES 
1 (14 oz.) pkg. banana bread quick bread mix
1/2 c. butter, melted
1 egg
Colored sprinkles
1/3 to 1/2 c. ready-to-spread cream cheese-flavored frosting

Heat oven to 375 degrees. Lightly grease baking sheets. In medium bowl, with large spoon, combine bread mix, melted butter, and egg until just blended.

Using about 1 teaspoon dough for cookie, roll it into a 3-inch rope to form the numeral 1. To make cookies for the numerals 2 and 3, roll about 1 1/2 teaspoons dough for each cookie into a 6-inch rope, then twist to form each number. Place on baking sheets. Repeat, forming the numbers again with remaining dough.

Bake 6-7 minutes until golden. Remove from baking sheets to wire racks and cool completely. Place colored sprinkles in small, flat dishes. When cookie are cool, spread each with about 1/2 teaspoon frosting, then dip frosted side into sprinkles. Yields 42 cookies.
