ORIENTAL MARINADE FOR STEAK 
1 tbsp. olive oil
1/4 c. tamari or soy sauce
1/4 c. dry red wine
4 cloves garlic, minced
4 scallions, minced
6 whole peppercorns
1/8 tsp. ground coriander
1 inch cube or fresh gingerroot, peeled and grated or minced

These amounts will do nicely for two pounds of meat - sirloin, round, or flank steak.
