CABBAGE SALAD 
Small head cabbage, broken into bite size pieces
2 carrots, sliced
1 green pepper, diced
Large purple onion, sliced very thin
3 cucumbers, sliced

DRESSING:

3/4 c. vinegar
4 tsp. salt
2 tsp. pepper
1/2 c. oil
2 tbsp. water
1/2 c. sugar

Mix dressing altogether. Pour over salad; mix well, and let stand overnight in refrigerator.
