SPARERIBS, SAUERKRAUT AND
POTATOES
 
2 1/2 lb. spareribs
1 #2 can (2 1/2 c.) sauerkraut
1 tsp. salt
4 potatoes, med., whole
1 tbsp. fat
1 tbsp. brown sugar
Dash pepper
2/3 c. water

1. Brown spareribs in hot fat.

2. Add salt and pepper.

3. Put sauerkraut in bottom of dish and sprinkle with brown sugar.

4. Place ribs and potatoes over sauerkraut. Add water.

5. Cover and bake at 325 degrees for 1 1/2 hours or until done. Serves 4.
