CHOCOLATE - CARAMEL CAKE 
1 plain devil's food cake mix (pudding mix not necessary)
1 (14 oz.) pkg. wrapped caramels
15 oz. can condensed milk
3/4 c. butter
1 c. chocolate chips
1 c. chopped walnuts

Melt caramels, milk, and butter together until ingredients blend. Set aside. Mix cake according to package directions. Grease and flour 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake 1/2 of the cake mix in pan for 15 minutes at 350 degrees. Pour caramel mix on baked cake next; add remainder of cake mix. Sprinkle chocolate chips and nuts on top and finish baking for 23 minutes.
